Well as of lastnight I have my short block back together and should be running by wed. I will be out giving the imports here terror. They have gotten way out of hand this winter so I am going to go put them back in their place. I found a place here to cnc port my heads that will be done this summer and a 331 stroker. I am going to hold off on the 393 till next winter. But I will still be in the 10s with the 331. I also got a new Mustang yesterday a 89 vert. It will be my road race car.

Congratulations! I've never heard of a 331. That sounds weird to me!

You know it. I never could get my camaro to be as fast as my Stang with out major build up. And it is very streetable. As for the 331 it is a smaller stroke of a 347. It doesnt wear as much and doesnt use as much oil. You will not be rebuilding a 331 nearly as fast as you would a 347. And you dont have clearance issues. I was going to build my 393 but decided to hold off till I pay off more of my bills. A 331 can use all my existiing mods. All I am going to do is cnc port my heads. And I will upgrade my supercharger. I will be in the 10s still. I am shooting for a mid 10 this summer @ 125+ mph.
