Anyone ever had any problem with AFS wheels? How long do they take to ship?

Did you already order them? If so, they might have sent them freight, to save themselves a buck or two. In that case, I'd be pissed, but I don't know how long you've been waiting either. Hopefully you get them soon.

Yeah just like Jack said. Freight will be at least 45 days. Sometimes you get lucky and get under 30. Been reading horror stories of late but you get that once in awhile w/ any company you deal with. Thought you were going the ebay route? What are you buying? ZO6's?

I went the Ebay route. They are still from AFS. 18" polished Z06's. Got em for $800 shipped, so it isn't that bad. They said that they would go UPS Ground. Not sure it that's good or bad

To your home address? That might not be that long, but how much was it for just the shipping?

 Did you do the customs paperwork? This way you won't have to pay extra. (that is unless things have changed within the last few years)

You must do the customs paperwork, to import items, or you pay taxes on it. It's your choice! Make it a wise one! ;)

They are getting shipped to Georgia. My dad is mailing them the rest of the way. AFS doesn't ship over seas nor to an APO. Those a$$holes!

I'm sure AFS said they'd ship to the UK but then I found the cheaper sets on ebay with no facility for export outside the US. No way was I paying full whack while they were giving $500 discounts on ebay for the same wheels. That's why I bought Smoothies. Their loss.

I just bought a grillcraft grille from http://www.usspeedonline.com after Gadget Motorsports said that grillcraft wouldn't export to the UK. Couldn't resist mailing them back to rub it in. They thanked me and said they would "look into it for future sales opportunities". Yeah, well not from me, pal. LOL :D

Shipping was something like 80 dollars for the grille but $120 UPS. I took the UPS option as they're a lot quicker.

I don't deal with anyone who doesn't ship to APOs, period. If it's something like a rearend, I understand, but some wheels- come on!

Yeah, it grabs hard, but I think my syncros might be heading south. I had to put 4 qts of ATF Dextron III in the tranny, 'cause it was bone dry.

They didn't put any fu\/king transmission fluid in the transmission when they fixed it. This means that I was driving it without fluid for a couple days before it finally said "no more!" I'm going to call them tomorrow and tell them that if my syncros are fried, they are rebuilding my transmission, or are gonna pay for it to be rebuilt. This is just enfuriating, and I can't and won't ever recommend them again. These are stupid rookie mistakes, and costly ones a performance shop should NOT be making.

This was that place out by Sembach that I was telling everyone about. They are so freakin' cocky, but they always make stupid mistakes like this? I don't think so. They are complete idiots, and should never work on any more of our cars.

I loosened the little bleeder valve and it went in further. Then I tightened it, and voila.

Have you gone up there to talk to them about it? Hopefully it subsides but trannies are moody at times.

I'm in Romania man. I wish I could. Maybe one of you could go find out what the hell is going on?! They acted so cocky, like nothing they did could have been wrong. I'm so sick of this crap.
