And woke up to a freezing 62degrees to day . expected high 72. hopefully you folks get some of this escaping heat.

Garry actually these people charge 1dollar for a cup of coffee . unbelieveable. That is like 1/10 of an Iraqis wages for a day.
And Joe pays it. Taklk about who sticking it to who.

Big Daddy, get used to it Buddy. You new guys really got spoiled last Summer. I just hope it's as nice or nicer than it was last year; although the latter would be hard to imagine.

Today about 9 people I know wrecked their car in the snow.
Some only their beater, luckily, others their beloved toys and
one even a brandnew truck when hitting into his wifes car in
front and the weight pushed her into another car...
easy done on plain ice.

The A6 from Saarbrücken towards Mannheim was blocked
trucks backing up in two lanes all the way ...20, 30 ? miles?

we were spared yesterday, while both south and north were hit - it moved in last night, though not as bad (yet) - about an inch or so, heading for the sidewalk in a minute to clean it ...
THIS SUCKS! :hammer:
Best wishes to all you folks having to use your car in those conditions ... drive careful & good luck, too ...

I know Silke, my Jetta paid the price for my inexperience in snow driving. Its still drivable, but its got a nice dent. Was kinda embarassing standing by my car while everyone else goes to work. Just an end to a bad day.

We did get a day off cause of the snow! WHooo-Whooo!

I wish I was in school, so I could get a snow day. We just have a 2 hour work delay.

I had a few soldiers stuck out in that crap. They were the ones making snow angels and playing football in the "fast" lane. They were nice enough to video tape it to show us.
