This is for the driveshaft. I had to rig something up at the craft shop today. I just want to know before I order one.

Jack if I was home it would be yours, I have the stock u-joint from when I changed out the old 10bolt. If you could get up to Wiesbaden I could probably get my wife to hand it off to you. Let me know.

Actually, I need a whole new driveshaft. It snapped today. One guy at the craft shop seems to think that the differential went South, so it locked up, and the driveshaft snapped in two. If I wouldn't have had the safety loop, I would probably have a hole in my floor. How hard is it to replace the diff? I think I'm ready to sell the car now. Any takers? $14,000 once I get it running.

Man that is crazy. I'm sure you can find one for sale relatively cheap. Don't quit now you're too damn close!

With shipping and the whole nine yards, probably around $2500.. Cheap by no means, but quite necessary on a rough-driven car. I will probably just go with the Torsen T2-R diff. that is made for racing, and high HP applications.
