I haven't posted anything for ages. Just want y'all to know I'm still around. I PCS'd to Lakenheath in December. I got my car delivered last Friday, payed out of my pocket, OUCH! I got it running today, I sat for over 1 1/2 years. Started right up and runs like a charm. Had to leave some rubber, just to make sure.
Any UK members here?

What's up Robin. I haven't seen you in what, 6 months? :D I went back in January, and the new guy told me you went to England.. One way to look at is that you're gonna be making some SERIOUS cola up there.. I'm sure it's over $2000 a month now. Glad to see you finally posting on here.

Unfortunatley, I don't get COLA. Something about being a local European hire. I think it's BS since I still get paid in $ and have the same expenses as someone coming from the States. At least I get LQA, that's what they call our housing allowance. Got a nice 3 bedroom house to myself. Bachelor crib!
I already have some guys with 4bangers wanting a piece of me here, the car is not even registered yet. Santa Pod dragstrip is only 1.5hrs from here, they race for about $30 run what you brung once a month.
Jack, did you ever go in the summer? I can't remember. If not, you have to! It's about 500% better in the summer.

Hell yeah, dude! The first time I went was last August! It was gorgeous, and the weather wasn't bad either! ;)

There's some nice American cars running at Santa Pod.

Look out for my fellow AACI member, Ray Comer. He's got a black '99 LS1 kitted out with nitrous which he's trying to get into the 11's and is so close but traction is giving him a few problems at that track.

If you're going to be in the UK for a while, look up the club at http://www.aacint.com.

There is a big show at Billing Aquadrome near Northampton on the weekend of 17/18 April. Why not come over?

The car looks nice, that huge wing looks like some thing out of the ricer magazine. Must be true, adds more horse power.

It comes like that, though, so in my book- it's acceptable! :D
