Yeah I've been hearing the same thing down here. Our mission was terminated early due to the news w/ the extensions. Hope you guys make it back as intended and not a day later. Man that's just some BS. Isn't it true you guys will get a extra 1K a month for staying over a yr? I heard that on one of the infomercials.

That is a theroy in peace time can be waived in a crisis WAR never seen soldier paid it yet. It is called OPTEMPO in the Army and does not apply in times of War it is just monitered??? correct me if I am wrong but you would deserve some compensation.

Well, hopefully Roy will get a chance to post soon, take it from me they're really busy where he's at. The question has already ben asked about the extra for going over a year.....don't hold your breath is what we where told.

Got an email from Roy's wife, saying he called early this morning, can't make it to Bitburg in May but he got extended another 3 month so it will be August...

Hm ... guess we need to start the new count as bad as it is ... maybe Val and Roy luck out and get back earlier than the 3 months ... either way, main thing is they stay out of trouble and harm's way ...
