Val? They won't ship the exhaust from the states? That's odd......
They might not. I had to go to Frankfurt to pick mine up. Too big (barely) to send through the mail.

Yeah, I'll have to pick my rear from Frankfurt, but I had my Corsa shipped to me. It just depends on who's shipping it.

Nope haven't bought one yet but it's in the plan. I had a bunch of stuff sold from my car and the guy backed out on me so now I have to adjust what I'm going to buy for it. The coilovers are out and GMMG is in. Just going to find a way to get it over here!! I mean there

Yep, Blue with silver stripes. Here's a list of what I'm trying to get rid of
1)MTI Clear air lid w/K&N filter ($100)
2)G-2 Super springs & Bilstiens($400)
3)10Bolt posi 3:42gears, w/wheel studs & G-2 alum rearend cover. minus backing plates & calpiers(only 30kmiles)($500)
4) Eradispeed rotors($100)
The guy was supposed to buy all of it when he picked up his new car. Now he's changed his mind.
The silver stripes are trashed right now(according to the wife) so I'm looking at picking up a new set but with a slight change.

Jack, the lid is yours but can you hang on til I get home to give it to you?
The Springs have 20k and shocks10k. This is the deal, the springs and shocks are on the car so I could have them off the car as soon as I got back. Hopefully I make the SEP races, I was planning on bringing all my stuff up to bitburg to sell it then. Silas your right it is dirt cheap on the prices but it's all I need to get the coilovers I should be back by AUG 15
DAM almost forgot, for those that have the LS1 and still have the factory "Y Pipe" that is flat on one side I have a G-2 "Y pipe" that I'll let go for $150only has 1k on it. (01-02) is what it will fit (bolt right up).

That sucks, but I completely understand man. I can wait on the lid, but the shocks/springs are going to happen sooner!
Get back soon!

The lid will be your Jack, I will deliver it to you the week I get back! Yep being here and trying to sell stuff has it's drawbacks (especially when it is still on the car)

That is probably not going to happen, unless they bring the DRAFT back into effect, which would be a terrible idea in my opinion... That's starting to become a popular idea among a few democrat senators....

Val, what kind of shape is your rear in? If it's still good, I want to buy it. I have a buyer for my car, and I am ready to get into something else. Please let me know asap. I will go pick it up as soon as you give me the word.
Thanks!

I know man. I am indecisive, but the offer is too good to pass up, and he is really getting alot more than what he is paying for. I won't be selling it for another 3-4 months, but when I do, IT WILL BE GONE FOREVER!!!!!
I really want to get into something classic when I get back stateside. I'm looking at possibly a '55 Bel Air, or a '69 Camaro SS. Maybe even a '69 or so Nova like NovaRats... Heck, maybe I'll buy his if he still has it at the end of Summer. Not for 12000 Euros, though...

Not sure why you would want to do that, but the first two cars will command more than your gonna get for yours (not that I know what your getting btw). Would be fun to tinker with 'ol school stuff.
I got a idea, buy a 87-93 5.0 put as much money into it as you did into your ls1, and you would have a 7 sec streetable car.

No thanks Rob, if I get something, it will be old school! I know how much money goes into them, as my uncle restores classic cars in Florida. Hopefully I'll be able to work with him in a couple years or so, after school. If I'm gonna dump this much money into a car, it's gonna be an old car, so I can at least justify fixing it all the time!
