This week I installed the K&N FIPK II to my Z28. As some of you know, I was screwed in buying the kit via internet, the heatshield wasn´t in the parcel.

I had to leave the lower part of the stock airbox, because it holds the radiator and the cooler in position.



Thanks again to LuS1fer, who send me the little filter I needed too and wich is installed on the right side.

But I think, I fellt the gains, the car is running better

That actually doesn't look too bad. Nice work!

It probably works better than K&N's version. You've got a direct cold feed underneath and a shroud around it to stop it sucking so much engine heat. All you have to do is find some of that rubber trim to finish off the edges.
