Pulled out of a mid-late 80s wagon that still ran (and drove). Dual bolt pattern bellhousing (Chevy and Buick, Olds, Pontiac). Complete rebuild kit (new) comes with it. Torque converter included (used). Was going to rebuild to put in my '57 (same dimensions as the TH350, bolts right in without having to change the driveshaft) but ran out of time. $350.
These can be built to handle over 500 hp and the gear ratios are better than the 700, closer ratios.

Ran out of time? Are you leaving?
Is the tranny in good enough shape to install as is? At least good enough to get a certain 78 Z on the trailer, on the boat, and back to the states?
If the answer to all these questions is yes...I'll take it.
Wait a minute...how far away from Ramstein are you?

The tranny was good enough for what you want when I got it, but...it's been sitting for a couple of years so I can't answer that. Yeah, I'm off to Ft Jackson. I'm about 2 1/2 hours away from you (Wurzburg). Send me an email to work out the details if you still want it.

I might have spoke too soon...looks like I'm going to have to pass on your tranny. I've got about 3 months left in country myself and, according to the wife, I have a long family trip coming up this summer. It's no wonder I can't keep my car budget intact... A o/d tranny will have to wait until I get back stateside.
