Ordered some brake bads on April 12 with the understanding that they were in stock. Got email 2 days later that they weren't and they would ship them out by the end of the week or the beginning of the next. Just got email stating that they'll ship them out next week.
Is it just me? Almost went through someone else, but thought that I would have gotten them quicker through these guys.

Seems to be a growing trend with online vendors! A lot of sellers are selling things they don't have on hand and then ording after the order is placed. I just went throught the same thing with my GPS software from another vendor! I too am pissed!

SSZ28,
I just placed an order last week for my Volant Ail intake and haven't been charged as of yet. Tom seems to be pretty straight when it comes to business have delt with him several times. If he ships overseas like Thunder Racing does it, then they will only make a trip to the post office once a week. I'm surprised by this....taking so long to get your stuff to you. I'm not making excuses and hope that you and I both don't get the run around with the parts that where ordered.

What's really piss poor is the fact that they don't tell you unless you ask if it is in stock!!
Best place I've delt with since I've been in Germany is
Summit Racing (always get it in the mail 5-7 days after ordering by phone)
Thunder Racing(from David, by phone, shipped same week)
LG Motorsports(Ask to make sure that it is in stock, 5-7 days after ordering by phone)
alot of places won't ship USPS (F#$%@S) but the ones listed above do and I have had NO PROBLEMS when it is shipped priority.

Never. Been doing business w/ Tbyrne since 97. I usually will ask up front though if he has it in stock. If he doesn't he emails me and it always comes when he says it will. Most I've ever waited on a part was 3 wks because the flywheel was being built. Other than that tried and true in my book. Sometimes chit does happen though.........

Got my wheels from T.Byrne direct to the UK faster than a speeding bullet and no bs. However, I used Redline Motorpsorts for the brakes as they were much cheaper, arrived faster than a scalded cat sat on a needle and had a taxman friendly "low value" bill attached. Hot diggity dog.

Finally got the pads today (Hawk HPS). They seem to be a lot better than all of the others that I had (at least 6 different ones ) Just gotta see how they do at speeds over 100mph now.
BTW, actually locked up the front tire (just for 1 sec) this morning. Never had that happen before on dry pavement!

SSZ28,
I'm running the HPS at all 4's on mine and LOVE THEM!! Now I have the ZO6 set up in the front with them and it really STOPS!! Not like Roy's does but I'm really happy. Stops from 100+ you will see a big difference over stock that is for certain and they will BITE HARD cold or warm. I put in air ducts to cool the fronts while racing and that made a difference also, brakes seem to be lasting alittle longer!
It's funny, I just got the stuff I ordered from TByrne today also (well actually the wife picked it up at the post office and sent me pics of it). If you got anymore questions about them let me know!
Val
