Due to the number of vehicles I have, I bought into a one-month, unlimited number of VIN inquiries on Carfax. I've run three on my cars and had interesting results.
If anyone is interested in what "the system" says about their used car, drop me your VIN by PM or e-mail and I'll run it through. Car must be newer than 1981 w/17 digit VIN. Of course the car has to have been registered in the US at one time.

They don't show either car being reported by any of the DMVs. Have they ever been registered in the US?

I know more about my 85 then they do. the first six years of its life is unaccounted for. and i once met the orig owner at a gas station. she probably didn't like what i had done to her car.

One of the cars you sent me VINs for was apparently never reported by any agencies before it was exported.
