Well I went for a drive today and got about 20 miles away from my house and I heard this ticking noise from the motor. The motor shut down and there is oil leaking from the driver side of the block so I'm pretty sure I through a rod somewhere in there. I have to report to drum next week so I guess I'll be towing her with my damn truck. For those of you who care I'll let you know more tommorow when I pull the heads off.

Yeah it's all a bunch of shizzzzza thats why I put the little smiley face at the end. The car is just sitting in the driveway covered up still with euro plates on it getting ready to drive it to drum. I've only driven it a hand full of times since i've had it. It's just not fun anymore to drive it over hear when your used to going as fast as you want (speed limits suck)
I actually just posted this to get a rise out of the board so you guys will finally post some bitburg times. I want to know whos king of the hill right now, I can bet on who it is SRZ!!!!!!!!

I figured you would have picked up on the the little happy face john. I guess your right I should quit screwing around with ya. The car is running fine I just readjusted the Pro Mag RR and dam just like I suspected they were all loose. I Knew after I hit a 1000 miles on the new motor I would have to adjust them but I never thought they would be that loose. I started noticing the Lobe of the cam decreasing and thats what keyed me in on the RR, well 30min later she's lumping up a storm once again. If those pro mags come loose again they'll be up for sale and i'll switch to the crane golds. It seems no matter how tight I get the allen key lock nut it's just not tight enough or my polly moter mounts are just shacking them loose? Who knows I guess these are just the common problems with that type of motor. I wish you luck on readjusting yours when ever you do it give me a hollla or i'll give you one. The number I'll be at will be in your e-mail I'm know longer at my sisters house.
And hawk nice times I can't wait to get mine on the local track. (??????) FYI I went up to watertown for a couple of days to recon the local area and man is that place in the sticks. I can see what you mean when you said I'll have one of the faster cars around, there's nothing but SUVS and trucks dammit all.

Yeah me too I was really getting sick and tired of owning a car that just sat in the garage collecting dust. I really thought I had a paper weight with a bow tie emblem on it
How's your Z running now Jack?

It's running really well, but I broke one of the cheap 941 valve springs I have on the car, so I got some better 918s from Hawk! They're not gonna break any time soon!

Hey Ryan you need to come down to Fayetteville and run. I am in the 11s at 118 mph with the same setup i had in Germany. I just been tuning on it. I am one of the faster street cars here. I mean there is faster but not that drive in and make several passes and back home. I bet it would be a good race between me and you. Till my beast goes in

I don't know man I was just in fayetville once again last week, but I tend to think the 383 needs a bit more tuning before she can mess with your setup. I definatly still have the old stroker motor rich problem on my hands and until I get this thing tuned I'll b stuck with it. I just adjusted the valves after the first 1000miles and she'sa running strong but I'd hate to push her. Other than that if your around in a while I'll be down there soon enough to try my luck at rockingham or thundervalley.
