I live in Denmark and will be driving (like crazy) to the CART race on Lausitzring medio September. I'd like to visit a US Car junkyard on the way (Puttgarden-Berlin-Lausitz), does anybody know where there is one? It's OK to be 100km out of my route.

I doubt you'll find a U.S only car junkyard, but you may get lucky and find a u.s car in the junkyard here. What are you lokking for? Maybe one of us can find it for you?

Here in Holland we have several and they practically have EVEYTHING one could need, the only rawbak they have is the 'healthty' price, but you boys from Danmark are used to some serious taxes so maybe it's not too bad for you ..

I'm mostly looking for an original AM/FM radio for a 68 Camaro (or 67-68 Camaro/Firebird will fit).

When you posted about this the first time I gave you a few links to ebay auctions. I believe this will probably be the best bet for you.

Here are some more. If you need help with shipping it to Europe email me..

I know George, and thanks.

But I don't really understand ebay, and find the prices very high. And I don't need a new unused radio, it's OK to buy an old used one, and if it doesn't work, I can maybe get it fixed.

Besides that I need 10 other very minor things to complete my 100% Original restoration of my 68 SS350, things that are so small that you can't buy NOS.

In Sweden there are 2 US junkyards, I can tell you guys it's quite an experience to walk around looking at all the cars. I've been through those, and still need things mentioned above.

So Sweden has US only junkyards, Holland as well, none in Germany? ;-)

I know JC whitney has digital ones that look like the older ones. They would blend right in and be a great addition to your car.

Sorry, only want the original, not anything new and improved. I'd like to keep my 68 SS one of the most original cars in Denmark, and it's often tempting to upgrade to something better, but I don't.

This might be a little late, but do you have access to a Hemmings Motor News? It's a for sale/trade/wanted bible of old cars and parts. I've got a new one and can look through it to see if I can find you one if you'd like.

We have a German Car Magazin. It´s called "Chrome&Fammen". You can get it at the gasstation.
In this Magazin they have a "privat Market Place".
Mayby you will find something there.
Good
