Well, we had a good time at Bitburg again. Once again the Mustang guys showed up in force on Saturday but were almost nonexistent on Sunday. Nick's new suspension setup is really working great. He was running 14.7s last year. With the new suspension, gears and drag radials, he had several 14.0s this weekend and took 2nd in the brackets. He was pulling consistent 60 ft. times in the 1.9s. Les took 3rd. My Pro 5.0 shifter must have helped too. I got several 13.6s with the lowest being a 13.601. To cap the weekend off, a new M3 lined up with me on Saturday and I took him by about 3/4 of a car length. Best of all, nothing broke. Wish more of you could have been there.

Jerry

We had a great time at Bitburg again, the weather wasn't to great but it was still a good time... It was great that Nick and Les both from the f-body board took home a win...

Hawk, you and Nick can stay home from anymore as evertime you two get with Jerry it costs me more money out of my HOUSE fund...LOL
Now that Jerry has his new shifter and his slicks he thinks he is unstoppable, he wants more now because of you two...

Bitburg weather was horrible...

Feels like its late September here...last year we were roasting

I showed up Saturday and didn't bother on Sunday...my tops leaks bad until I can get it replaced...so I kept it covered on Sunday

Glad all went well and Nicks' slicks are running good for him.

Great ET Jerry. Sorry I didn't make it this time but I had my hopes up for Kitzigen. It fell through at the last minute. I kinda missed sleeping in the back of your truck. Bruce and I put his old cam in my new silver Z on Thursday. We worked all night until we were done. About 5 am on Friday. I am still waiting on a bunch of other goodies from Texas Speed and Performance plus my new tune. Car should realistically go 12.60. See you and Linda at the next one.

Not really slicks. Linda just screwed up again, LOL. Just Hawk's old Nittos, but they're getting close to slick after all the runs I did this weekend. My best time was a 13.601 which was about .15 better than my previous best. Guess the sticky tires and shifter helped out a little.

I also found out my car was in another magazine, Dragster.De. Silke had them for sale so I got a few. Overall another good weekend.

Glad several of you guys showed up and didn't chicken out due to the weather forecast ... as always the weather turned out better than predicted - it was cool and windy, yes, but apart from the bigger and a shorter rain break on Saturday and the short one on Sunday, the track was dry all of the rest of time ... got soaked tearing everything down, of course ... :( Oh well ...
As for numbers, I'll be posting the stats later on ... quickest ET was a 11.7 or 11.8 from a beetle ...
