Me, too, though not sure with which car ... might have to bring some stuff that is too big for the Camaro ...

I'll be there, too. I will see if all this stuff I put on will help with the 1/4 mile times. (Yeah, I doubt it too!!!)

Looks like the folks might be in for a treat ... kind of ... still somewhat provisionally and missing 4 digits, but ... I will probably have the display there ...

I am trying to figure out what day to go. I know that a lot of Mustangs and Camaros from Heidelberg may be going. How long does it take to get there from Heidelberg? Test and tune is Saturday from what I hear, where do I go exactly?
I need to run a few times to see what it will do in 1/4 mile. I am not sure, but I know that I will leave a new SVT Cobra behind many car lenghts on the autobahn after shifting into 3rd.

Roy,
Hey man..I tried the PM thing, but it did not go.
Hey man, you back in Country for good? I want to be there for one of the days. I read your post, ...I ran in the 27th EURO GRAND PRIX, came in 4th in my class, against a 435R Mallet, a CALLAWAY and an Lingenfelter, the HOTCAM is the bomb. I pulled away from a LAMBO DIABLO on the bahn yesterday when I was heading to STUTTGART EUCOM for a meeting, in 2nd we both were about tied, after 3rd, I started pulling away, I was in front already, in 4th, I was leaving him way back, each shift in my car and the front end lifted and shot forward even harder. I have not been beat yet on the bahn, I have killed F360's and F355's, Porsches frm Carrera;s to Turbos and raced a 550HP Tuner Porsche, tied with him on the bahn and any AMG you can think of exexpt the new 600, I have not ran into one yet. My car survived the whole day at Hockenheim, my fastest lap time was 2.04 with an average of 131KPH. I am not sure what happened to my car, but it has gotten a lot faster. Rob Evans the Texan guy with the Red Z06, now chameleaon color, has a Vortech Blower, says that he has 540HP, but he could not leave me in a straight line..when we left Hockenheim. The bad part is, I qualified 10KPH fastre and some 8 seconds I think on him...so much for a blower, staying NA with the right parts is awesome. I think that I have the ghost of my IROC with me.
Hope to see you soon Roy,
Take Care,
Nick
PS. Welcome back.

Glad to hear from you Nick. I'll be up there with the family in Bitburg on Sunday. Once you get to bitburg lokk for the Flugpatz sign and take that turn. That will get you close. I was at the Hock yesterday and it was a blast . I believe my times were about the 2:15 mark for me. probaly go faster but i got to get the rest of my suspension on first.
I told you the Hot Cam for the LS1 is a real sleeper , and it is easy on valve springs. I am glad to hear the success with it.
Hey I ran into Ray with the black supercharge cobra, He is still in kinda disbelief with the way you ran away with him.

Roy,
Man...I m glad that you are back. Ray's Cobra is nice, it does have a lot power too. I was surprised myself that I walked that hard. I had duty Thursday night otherwise I would have been there at Hockenheim. I think I may have 0ver 300 laps at Hockenheim now. Will you be there for the next tourist driving session?
The hotcam is great, it has the same lift as an 01 Z06 so valvetrain and spring problems are not a problem, but the car shoots out like a bulllet, and it can light the tires so easy, cathcing 2nd gear is like spinning in 1st. The powerband i wide too, it is not peaky just smooth power. I have some other tricks up my sleeve for this winter!!
I have changed the sway bars to the Corvette Racing T1 sway bars
with metal end links and upgraded the shocks to the 04 Z06. Right now I am running 2 degrees of camber, left over from the Vette/Viper shootout at Hockenheim.
Take Care,
Nick
