I hear the car show in K-Town....

I hear the Race Wars....

I hear the weather is going to be nice again this weekend, so maybe a trip to K-Town is in order or to the Race Wars.

Cars are The Stars & Race Wars in Eisenach! I'll be chillin' around the house, both to save money and spend some time with my wife.

I tried to tell her that this is my last year with you guys. She's just kind of stingy when it comes to me. She doesn't really like to share.

Yes, but you have to be open minded enough to look past the distance. It is so much fun. By far the most fun at a car show I've had to date!

I drive 4.5h / 510ks to Bitburg...

I also think Eisenach is worth it, even though i just have to drive 1.5h to get there. It´s hard to find really good car related events in Germany...
RaceWars is still to some degree "pure", not too much dealers selling crap ,too much rules and no serious racing

Don't worry I will. I just have to remember where that Esso was. I know it's like the first exit once we finally get back to the 'bahn!

Jack,
Good to hear you got a dispatch with off post authorization! I will there this time. I missed the last two because I was on leave and the car was not ready. I am still looking for my 12 sec time slip. I know that Race wars does not really count by a 12 sec timeslip is a ...... You know what I mean.

the Beetle folks were not interested at all, they rather looked at their beetles...

BTW this weekend is also the Mountain Race in Spa, supposed to be very good.

And talking about leaving the country: I asked Garry to put the link to the request form for an international drivers license for US on the 1on1 site.

We're not putting down bitburg, Racewars is just a DIFFERENT event. The people that go there are just there to have a good time and enjoy their cars . . . not to try to tune their car and then go to sleep at 10. I agree that Racewars is more of a purist event. Screw the timing system. If I beat the other guy to the finish line, I won. I don't even care about my times except for a good laugh. Looking forward to seeing everyone up there on Saturday.
