Just wondering what you guys got planned this winter for next yr.
Myself? Nothing. Just keeping it running is enough for me until I get this oil pressure situation resolved. Oh and a pair of AFR LT4 220 or 227cc Race ready heads and matching bump stick to go w/ it. Sheet metal intake will have to wait a little while longer. :D Still no 9" though. LOL!

New cam, maybe heads. I gotta figure out if the sfc's I got will fit, too. Other than that, the suspension is pretty well set.

most of the mods have been done since I got back....have to have it ready for SEP races and Hock Ring in SEP too. Hopefully it'll see QTP headers, throttle body, tune, coil overs, new race tires

John, you need to just take the jump and get the 9in, you will LOVE IT, nothing like side stepping the clutch at 5000rpms and not having to worry about the 10bolt being launched into outer space!!!! come on take the jump and just do it!!! I'll even come down there and help put it in!!!!!!!

Well not this coming year. I won't be able to afford it due to upcoming birth of my 2nd child, early Feb. I am putting my modding days on hold for now.

You can sell it for a pretty penny John! Go with a custom DS from Inland Empire. They have a warranty against twisting and broken welds! ;) Oh, and all my next mods will be done in Houston next year! ;) I've paid enough shipping costs over here. I can wait 7 months!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot; IE makes custom length CFDS!!!!!!!

Longer fatigue life than steel or aluminum tube.
Lower rotating weight transmits more of available power.
Smooth and stable from 0 to as high as 14,000 RPM.
Dramatically reduces vibrations common to overdrive equipped vehicles.
Safety Features

Absorbs vibrations that can destroy all metal shafts.

Reduces damage to vehicle and driver by shredding itself in case of component failure.
Sample Installations

Dan Gurney's IMSA GTO champion '87 Toyota.
Heavy trucks: diesel tractor, refuse trucks, etc.

C'mon John you know you will throw the 9 in there with a newer, shiner CFDS

I'm doing a few things pics to follow mostly just a diet and little stuff, but my big players hopefully will be a TH400 and a 9 with 3.50's (or thereabouts).

I have visions of coming off a trans brake next year 8)

Rob

I want one of those custom fabbed 9"ers that Rob was talking about- for like $1500. That would be sweet!

Yeah me too. I was on a site the other day and it looks like they're robbing from our boy Robh. They wanted more for one too. IF I do go that route then I have to sell my T2R to compensate for the CFDS. Man I don't want to do that just yet.

What's all involved in welding the axle tubes? :D
