OMG that thing can't get the power down as it is there ... how are you going to put 200+ HP from a 'busa to the ground??
Would like to see your time on the AutoX against the Porsches, though ...

I figure 4 lbs per horsepower, it will be a hard vehicle to handle or catch.
just some computer sims , show it going through the 1/4 at high 9sec with 150mph trap speed. with a 195 mph top end in 35 seconds. I don't think my kahonas are that big for that speed right now .

I don't think there is a roll cage strong enough for that one!

Oh, and a stupid technical question (sorry, i hadn´t had that engineering lesson already ):
Does a good hp/weight ratio always mean good quartermile times?
How do the torque numbers affect the times?
Or is torque just important if you got a quite heavy car?
I noticed that pretty light cars (fiat uno turbo, opel corsa with a turbo engine etc) nearly never run as good times as for example an f-body with a similar weight/hp ratio. Don´t know if that is course of the FWD, though.
Or perhaps i´m even wrong with that.

Chris, torque gets you going, but horsepower keeps you going! They're both equally important as far as I'm concerned. You can't have one without the other!

Can't watch that video at the moment, but if that's the kart with a bike engine, I saw some tests of it "live" at the Fahrsicherheitszentrum Nuerburgring one evening last year or two years ago... that WAS impressive!

Torque and HP generally come hand in hand, but a motor can be built in one direction or the other. But as fas as 1/4 mi times, you gotta look at suspensions set up, gears, weight distribution of the car, etc. So many factors come into play it is unreal. That's why in certain classes of heads up racing, you see people using a small selection of cars.
That kart is insane. It'd be a blast to try out, but I'd prolly kill myself before a week had passed.
