Not to be a downer man but enjoy your time while you can! After being overseas for four years all I wanted to do was go back stateside. Hopefully you get a descent assignment (if there are any in the Army LOL), because it sucks dude. I got stuck in Sumter, SC a.k.a. Skumter. Horrible, I will kill to be back in Germany right now. Where are you headed?

Hell yeah Mike. As of 18 July, I'll be a student at Universal Technical Institute. As of 1 Apr, I will officially be Mr. Jack Fountain! Woohoo! I just can't say that enough.

You´re going to be a student again? Wow.
What are you going to study and do there? Something like engineering etc?
And "Mr." is no bad rank at all...

I don't think so either, Chris! I will be learning just about everything there is to learn about cars, including superchargers and turbochargers! I plan to open up my own shop in the near future. I've always loved cars, so I might as well do what I love. I just can't stay in the Army any more. It's doing NOTHING for me whatsoever!

Great idea Jack and we wish you good luck with it. That's actually kind of my plan too, with a shop and stuff. I studied Management & Machine/Engine Cunstruction at the Technical University in Moldova but didn't finish it coz Monika kidnapped me to Germany
