...with times from a diffrent track, either here or in the States? Just curious. The only other time I ran my car at a track it was in Sacramento, CA in the middle of summer with no mods and I ran a 14.1. My fastest time here has been a 13.9 with lt headers, lid, MAF, Diablo program, BMR everything suspension (except sfc's), SLP cold air and stickier tires (not much!) I know I can't drive well, but I would think it would make more than a .2 second diffrence. Thanks for any inputs.

p.s. I am by no means slagging the track at Bitburg; I am very grateful for the chance to race there! (Thanks 1-on-1!!!)

Well, when you get back to the states, you should be doin pretty well. Except for driving 55mph to get there

isnt Bitburg a slight incline???

Its been a few years since I ran the lights at Bitburg , I remember a 13.2 with just a loudmouth and Yoko AVS tires.

Dave what was your mph at the end with your current mods? At least we can get a generalization of your horsepower your making with that.

Also just for giggles what is your shift rpm.

It's not much of an incline, according to my GPS it's something like 4-6 ft over the quarter mile distance ...

4-6 feet!?!? That's like 8 seconds on my ET!! That's why my car is so slow!

Seriously though, Bitburg is not a prepared track, so you can easily add a couple tenths to your time. I ran a 13.4@109 last year, so based on what people have told me, that would easily be a 12 second time slip in the States.

keep in mind, that unless you are using real tires, you wont be anyfaster on a prepped track. Besides getting pissy looks from everyone for chewing up the starting line with radials, you'll get just as much wheelspin. Stay away from water like the plague, and dont do anymore than a dry hop to clean the gravel off your tires unless you have "good" DR's or M/T's.

Jack on that particular day with that mph , you were showing around 353 horsepower. of course this doesn't take in to account weather and and elevation. So if it seems a little low thats why.

I would say lower than my expectations, but I guess I can't expect to have too much more than that, with just a cam and some exhaust components.

Fastest mph was 103, I have been shifting at about 5500. Boemanns dyno said 341 (average day 364) hp and 374 ft lbs. Shouldn't I be in the low 13's high 12's range? I will try out the auto-x Saturday, maybe all this suspension stuff will pay off!

Dave with a calculated weight of 3500lbs your hp is approx 298 on that day for that run. take in to mind this is with no corrections for weather or altitude.

That was a rwhp rating from a chassis dyno, though.

This would have been an estimation from the crank. 5500 rpms woild be a short shift . you might try 5800 revs. so by the time you react it would be hitting around 6000.
