Val, I'm free nex time as well. (Had a clash of events this time since "she who must be obeyed" celebrated her wedding anniversary and I kind of had to be there too).
I will bring the superbeetle along in October and see if I can still remember how to do that Auto-X thing.
Greetings

Cool Stef, looking forward to it ... and you're excused, I recon a wedding anniversary with one half missing might lead to low chances of another wedding anniversary
I'm thinking about what car to bring next month ... if I can fit everything I need for the weekend in the front and the trunk, I might bring the other car ... been waiting to run it in the slalom for a year now ... could use some professional hints, too

Garry, you got too many cars. Did you get a new radiator?

HotRod, in OCT you need to come on up and the offer is still open for the ride!!
Bruce, you know that I'll take you up on the challange......yes James was licking his wounds when I left (he didn't expect my car to run that good) Do you think that the clutch might have been the reason that you wheren't hitting 10's this weekend???
2Slow, trust me I understand about the other comitment, gotta keep them happy. Was hoping to see you there, looking forward to seeing you in OCT. Will there be any others coming out???? The car was hooking up GREAT, ran the fastest time of the day out of everybody that was there. I guess the "Iraqi Driving Lessons" helped
Ben, what happened we where looking for you but didn't see you, are you going to be there in OCT??
Jack, that freaking sucks about the u-joint caps, was the u-joint seated in the yoke all the way?? That yoke has the tabs to keep the end caps in place from the factory.
John, you need to bring the Z out in OCT for one last run for the year, still haven't had a chance to see you run it yet. Would love to see you run it on the auto-x, you got the set up and HP for it!!!!!
Garry, bring them both, you can swing it!!!! Was glad to see that the SFC's made a difference in the VERT.
To all the other car owners out there that I saw and met this weekend, I hope to see you there in OCT. Maybe we can get a few more to try the auto-x on Sat since Sunday is the bracket racing. It doesn't take that long to get your runs in and you'd be surprised just what you or your car can do. I think Bruce put it best, "It's addicting".

I d/l the video from the camera yesterday, need to scale it down some (unless you don't mind to d/l 512Megs for 2min video ) ... but the video doesn't do the AutoX justice ... it's so much more fun doing it than watching it ...

Val:
I was there on Sunday but didn't want to come over to AutoX cause Garry did all the computer work on Saturday so I stayed at the drag races all Sunday.
BTW, I was there with the Renault anyway...
Will be in Bitburg 2 days at the October event!
Ben

Yes, now that I've tried the brackets twice with the Renault I'll bring the Camaro in October...

I see how you are Nick. I screw up twice and you beat me both times and now you gotta talk smack. What about the other 20 times???? I expect a rematch this weekend. We'll see who takes who the next time!!! I gotta hold up the FBody reputation while I can before you get to Vegas and get your new engine. I do have to admit that you did beat me fair and square though. Don't like to lose, but if I have to, I can't think of anyone I'd rather have beat me.

Jack, That is surprising since that is the factory yoke. Can you change the yokes??? If so there is your fix.
Daddy did you get the PM I sent you??

Jack,
I have a yoke for the 10 bolt in my basement with the tabs. Do you want it? I can bring it to Race Wars on Saturday or I can mail it to you. It should only take two days to get to you.

Daddy, so you have to wait until you get a new engine before you want to tangle with my bone stock LS1 again. I thought you loved the LT1!!! I'll be waiting.
