Is Bitburg still going to be on the 2-3 of Oct.? You guys sound like it is going to be this weekend. I am going to Munich this weekend to drink a few dozen liters of beer. I just have to set the shocks to "kill lower back" and the 'Maro will be ready.

Nah, I put in a set of Hal QA1 adjustable shocks. The firmest setting is a bit...ah...firm.
Actually, I am a bit too low now, with long tube headers, SLP y pipe and about a 1.5" drop with the new suspension goodies. I finally squished a squeak that had been driving me insane since that stuff was put on. It was only on the extension stroke of the front drivers side. Wound up having to put a spring compressor on and loosen and lube the whole shock.

@ goaliedave40--Where do you work? Are planning to run the auto cross? I am trying to figure out if I have seen your car before. What color is it?

I work in the 81st AMU. I live in Bitburg itself, off the Ostring. I have a silver (sig ) 'Maro with five spoke 18's. I have been out to the races a couple times, maybe you saw it there. I do plan on running the auto x. I went to the 'Ring on Labor Day, so now I have the bug. The suspension parts made an unbelivable diffrence.

Cool, I work in the Vehicle Maintenance Special Purpose shop. I live in Erdorf right out side Bitburg. I think that I remember the car.

Did you change the V6 suspension parts, Bruce? If not, get ready for a nice "rolling" ride
To whomever may set up the course: Make sure you either set the track up for speed one day and handling the other, or do a healthy combination of both ... want to keep the chances for all kinds of cars even ...

Well lets , run it through the autox, or come to Hockenheim and lets see. I seriously doubt it has any advantage until the road gets choppy.

Hawk when you see cones at the Autobahn you got to stay one side not go in between them.

I was hoping that Roy, 2Slow, & myself could set up the course that had a combination of both like Garry said "wnat to keep the chances for all kinds of cars even" I still have yet to see any of the stangs out there.....let me guess "There set up for 1/4mi only" Don't worry Bruce I'll share a coke of YOURS with you as we are picking up the Hawk's feathers!!!
