Though I don't have an F-Body. F-Body is as close as I'm going to get to finding a *Crew* over here. Signature pretty much says it all.
So what's the dealy-oh? Is it a racewars or bitburg weekend coming up? I'd like to tag along with a group. Where's the biggest group heading?

Are they fairly close? I've been to bitburg (once) and never to racewars. Benefits?

Bitburg is not actually that far, even from Wiesbaden. It's probably no more than an hour and a half.
Have you met the guy with the blue Goat? His name is Joel, and he works at the Kapaun craft shop here in Ktown.
Welcome, and I'll probably see you around.

Just on the Internet. I honestly believe I was the first person in Germany with a GTO. Joel being the second. The AAR on my mistakes helped him tremendously I think. I tried running by his work the other day but he wasn't there. I'll catch him soon enough as I really want to check out that blue leather interior. (I have a Black w/ Red Interior GTO)

Welcome to the site. Is your GTO an auto or 6-speed? I saw one in Bitburg in July running 14.20's with an auto. I can't remember the color of it (Help me out Jeff!). My memory is terrible. You should come to Bitburg with us instead of racewars. Racewars is packed and the last time we were there one of our members car got backed into. Bitburg is the place to go if you want to measure the performance of your car at a pretty good track. It gets better and better everytime we run. They also offer Auto X.

Yup that was me. If I was running 14.2's it's news to me. I got 2 out 4 timeslips that day. Both were 14.6's. It would actually make me feel a lot better seeing as how the two I didn't get were what I felt to be the better runs.
I still haven't done anything as I've spent some money on other things (namely my Syclone) and maybe...just maybe I can get it up if parts arrive this weekend so I can split disperse my time between the two. Syclone if running should be a 13.0 truck...when I finish custom tuning the chip. Right now only two proggies on it. We'll see...otherwise I'll be up with old reliable and Run the GTO for now.

I think you already looked up #907 on 1on1 and found that only 2 timeslips were found in the DB.

SyGoat,
Welcome!!! I've been trying to get ahold of you(actuallly getting you to stop). I'm on the airbase with you. We park in the same parking lot sometimes. I've got the Navy Blue WS6 with silver stripes. Come on up to Bitburg and run the 1/4 & Auto-X. I should be going up on Sat & coming back on Sun. I'll be moving slow since my wife's truck will be hauling all the race stuff but you are more than welcome to tag along. Hope to link up with you soon.
Val

I could swear I heard it went 14.20. My hearing is bad since I used to work on tanks without mufflers. I know that GTO has more in her. A good set of Drag Radials would take care of that. Hope to see you in Bitburg.

I parked next to you this morning @ PT. I usually run in and shower @ the gym. If you're ever out and about near my trailer park (Trailers in front of Discom / next to Commo Tower) stop by.
@ NXZ28,
Yeah there's a lot more in her just like the other f-bodies. I'm considering a Z06 Heads / Cam package and some other goodies like Loudmouth Exhaust from SLP. Goal is to retain driveability. We'll see what happens here in the future. For now I'm stock.

Get the LS6 stage II heads from Patriot Performance. You just can't be that deal.

I will have a set of stock LS6 heads on my car for the next Bitburg. I already have a Comp Cam and it is a little more aggressive than the stock LS6 Cam. I already have the Loudmouth exhaust and I know that yours is different. I will let you know at the track how much difference the heads made. I am working on them now and should have it all done by Sunday. I am in the middle of porting the exhaust side now. What a pain in the butt. I am sneezing aluminum.

What are your flow numbers gonna be, Don???
I did mine last year. Just enough to make 'em look purty. I think that might have something to do with the aggressive sound.

I really do not have an idea. I am only doing the exhaust side since I don't have the longer bits to do the intake. BTW, I could actually hurt the mid lift numbers on the intake side if I get to greedy. The exhaust side is more forgiving. I am just cleaning them up a little. Looks good though. I am trying anything to get in the 11s. Hope the rearend in the car holds up. One 11 second pass and then the car is done for the year.
