Cool- it sounds like your car is at about the same level (HP wise) my car was at last year!

Val, congratulations with your 2004 FBE King of the Hill title. Just remember, it's tougher staying on top than it is to get there!
Roy, there's always next year to whip Val's butt. Looks like you might also have to invest in a set of "sticky" tires.
Cheers

Hey Stef, do you have any pics of your car collection? I'm really curious to see some.
I'm attending the Universal Technical Institute next year, and I'm seriously considering the Porsche apprenticeship program. I just thought you'd like to know that.

2Slow, THANK YOU!! Your right, I know that I will have to fight my a$$ off next year too. Roy had me pulling out all the stops this year. I still say it was the tires that made the difference. I honestly expected Roy to hand me my backside, I got lucky!!!! I know that you'll be be out there for blood next time, Thanks again for the set up of the course we couldn't of pulled it off with out you.
Jack, my trap speed was 108mph...street tires SUCK!! I know you where asking Roy but I thought I'd throw mine out there too.

I have to thank all of you, all the volunteers, for your ideas, for participating, or support as spectators and the families who understand...
I want to remind: the roots of 1on1-motorsports go back to FBE.
The reason that the event is called 1on1 is that I wanted it to appear as a neutral playground to have other clubs to join the fun.
When I first talked about the plans at a party at Bruce' house two years ago not many were seriously believing that we could do this; but I was and continue to be a nightmare for Garry when I want something done so he developed the timing system, and found time to help me create the website as I wanted ... thousands of emails went back and forward.
I decided to take responsibility for the organisation myself because of two reasons:
1. I did not want anybody else loose money if the project failed.
2. As a single person being responsible I can make quick decisions and remain flexible instead of waiting for a group of people to meet and vote for a result.
Today the majority of the active 1on1 volunteers are FBE and/or Bandit-Online members. It is impossible to do all myself and I am glad for every each individual. From this Forum I get the ideas what is of interest for the drivers. This Board is the parent of 1on1. So thank you all.
And of course thank you 2slow, because I don't think we ever had a good AutoX Course without you teaching us.

I'm not too sure I'll be up by then. I won't be able to order my brakes for a couple o' weeks.
Want to make it the end of Oct?

Jason, the 21st will be the last one for me if I can get "Household 6" to bless off on it as I will be TDY the rest of OCT.
Squirrelina,
"Thanks" You kept the Auto-x alive when it looked like it was domed & then put the "King of the Hill" together at the last minute...THANKS AGAIN!! Hope to see you out at Hock R.

....actually it was James who kept it going in the meanwhile.
I just supplied the cones, he did all the work.
