Roy, I raced against him. SS-Beginner did it all on motor, some experimental launching, and good shifting. He tried dumping the clutch at 5000 on that run. At least that's what he told me after the run.

BTW, my best time was:

13.06@113.9mph

Chuck

I would say that he has put the combonation together correctly and knows how to drive it. If a combination is well tuned these cars will really come alive.

With the @ sign in my ET, the system seems to be recognizing it as an email address.

Jeff definitely had some happy workers building his car at the factory.

As for my best time, I just need to learn to drag race it. This last Bitburg event was only the second time I've ever drag raced. The first time was back in 2002 when Operation Street Legal (OSL) ran one of its first events in Bitburg. Back then I had a 95 Mustang GT and I only made about 6 runs that day with a best of high 14's at around 95mph.

After this last event, I got the bug. I'm confident I can run my z06 in the mid to low 12's with traction and practice. I've only had the z06 for about 2 months now, so I'm still getting to know her. Next year will be better...I hope! BTW, if I haven't already, I'd like to say thanks to Bruce and Don for their driving tips and the offer to put on Don's drag radials to help me get in the 12's that weekend.
