Well I found out the other day that I am going to need wrist surgery to remove a cyst that is growing out of the joint, and it only took 7 doctors and an MRI to find that out . I go in on the 22nd and will get about a week and a half off for it, the doc said it was convelesant leave or something like that. But anyway I will be driving down to Neuschwanstein castle and the one that is on the other side of that little village down there and was wondering on if you guys had any recomendations on what to do while I was down there since I will have to drive like 4 and a half hours down there any way.

I believe you are referring to Linderhof.
My wife and I went there a couple years ago! Just drive around, and see different stuff. Don't go with a plan. Be spontaneous.

that may be it The town on the website for neuschwanstein was Hohenschwangau the only thing we were really planning was just seeing the two castles but I agree with jack its always more fun when you dont plan anything I am just trying to decide if we should keep it down to a day trip or spend two or more down there

They always jack up the prices, after they pay you nothing for yours.
