They're pretty much the same, both 4 piston. I think the Porsche brakes are basically just Brembos with a few minor cosmetic differences anyway.
Well, thinking about it and considering the tax, the fact that you'd have to ship the Brembos, there's probably not much difference at all- in regards to price.

You'll find me there on both dates and maybe tomorrow.

Hope it's not raining tomorrow though the weatherforecast says it is... but we'll have to wait and see tomorrow.

Still wet, raining in downtown Wiesbaden and it heading towards the airbase If it keeps up I'll be backing out on today's ring time.

Me too. Additionally I didn't have time to bed-in my new brakes (need dry weather for that). However, I'll be at Nuerburgring on Sunday (if the weather is better than today).

Guys, I don't want to poop on your party, but from experience I can tell you that the Hockenheimring has very little grip in the wet. That coupled with slightly outdated F-body rear axles might cause a bigger adrenalin rush than you reckoned with.

ps: even the good can come to grief. 3 Weeks ago a friend wrecked his 996 in the wet coming out of the Nordkurve, tail drifted out and he crashed into the inside wall. So, if you lose it there, make sure that you fly off towards the outside of the curve.

I remember in February this year leaving the track a couple of times with ChevyV6 . At that time the track was just a little damp. It was horrible to put power down . Had to drive like I had a egg under my go pedal foot and shift earlier.

Track wasn't too bad then ... great for doing double-360's and sliding sideways ...
