I was J/K with that Diesel in the Porsche I think Hell will have to be not only freezing, but near absolute Zero before anybody sees a Diesel Porsche leaving a plant ...

With your subsidized petrol you may not have realized that nowadays it is very sexy in Germany to drive strong Diesels.
There will be the next BMW 535d with 280hp and when we have stopped the third time for refuelling this beast will still run at 155mph on the Autobahn.
For the fuel consumption: I have tried several things, but even if I let it roll in 6th gear at 180-200km/h and use 5th only occasionally it will take 16litres/100km. (BTW: My Hooptie can do the same at 10-12litres)
So I decided to have some fun and live with the numbers around 18-19.
Off the topic: Clymia, you look so gorgeous, posing in black dress and boots in front of an Fbody!!
Any chance to see more pics like that??
My doc says I have too low blood pressure.
That might be the right cure!

On the 320D Beemer, I was able to run it on 4L at 60mph ... Autobahn, even high speeds, hardly ever got it to 7L ... the V70 isn't quite as efficient, but is pretty close ... according to the computer, I made it below 5L on the same road ...

BTW, if you compare the new BMW 545i to the 535d, the Diesel is quicker around the Hockenheimring!

You're right, but my speed was between 120 and 140km/h (however, with A/C) when I achieved this number. And you have an automatic, right? Quote: but seriously, who cares how much it uses, we drive it so seldom and always use v-power I use Super Plus cause I think it's safer with the high rpm track driving I do, but I don't think V-Power has any advantages in our engines...? Ben As I said, I know for sure that it was under 10l! Very simple: 300km, 30l in the tank and still had some at home. What speed I had, how I drove, etc etc who cares?! I never calculate or watch out on smth like that. I dont know and care, I just know it was under 10l and basta! Garry, that was pretty racistic!!

My fuel gauge is funny: For the first 200km the needle hardly moves and I think: Wow, fuel economy is great!
But than it starts to move. And when passing half way, the needle drops so rapid, I better look for a gas station.

Because the gauge doesn´t show the amount of fuel, but the level in the tank - and the tank is shaped like this: \___/
So the upper half has more fuel in it than the lower half... that´s the trick.

Vadim, also for future use: Racist is not an accusation that should be used lightly, unless you are dark-skinned, Garry is white (I don't think the accusation works the other way around) and you can PROVE that he was taking a dig at your colour.

We all know Monika is extremely attractive, but Vadim might get offended if we keep commenting on her picture. He is a very lucky guy- that is for sure!

@2slow
I didn't accuse anybody, that's why I used "racistic" and not "racist" to only accuse Garry's sentence, not him and so the ppl don't understand it the wrong way, like you did, capisci? I see everybody understands the words in 10000 different ways here, hehehe
@Jack
tnx, for your help. I like inventing words! Here's my car wearing your wheels. Looks badass! http://www.mirons.de/cme.mpeg
@droolers
tnx for the compliments, as long as they're well-meant, I don't have a problem.
