I know 1BAD90GT had SC lined up but it feel through. Well I don't know if you guys heard of PCMForless but he's like one of the best in terms of tuning in the FBod world but he tunes all vehicles. Chip burns, flashes Eprom's etc. Wide band 02's is what he uses etc. Best of all dude is cheap and won't kill your pocket.

Well I was talking w/ a vendor I do business w/ and he's close friends Brian. The vendor asked me about dyno tuning over here and I basically explained to him there was little support for us. He asked me if he could ask Brian about the possibility and say why not. That's when James the vendor got back me and said it would be no problem but only that we make it worthwhile to him since he's never been overseas. :D 20 car minimum but price and all the details haven't been worked out because like I said this was just thrown out in discussion yesterday.

So what do you guys think? This is the extent of the convo so it's really in its infancy.

If you guys really wanted a tuner to come out there

try http://www.geocities.com/pcmforless/

Bryan Herter 610-685-8871 i am very good friend with him and he has done all my tuning.

He is as good as it gets and people fly him in to do tuning all the time ... I guess you would have to make it worth his time because i am sure he won't go for just a couple of cars. Since you guys have allot people out there i am pretty sure you would have no problem raising money to get him out there....... he can do mail order tuning but the European climate is different so if would be easier for him to make adjustment there to get it right the first time.

I can talk to him if you like to see what it would take

ok just got off the phone. he has everything you need to do tuning and him and his partner can do both mustangs and tpi cars he also has everything portable to burn chips and wide band o2 sensors. But he would need to bring his partner for the mustang and tpi tuning.... pass the word around and see what your guys think
Since you are in the hotel side also can you get deals on flights also?
Bryan said he would definitely come out there if you guys want it ......

They should have said they needed more money. I was told I could wait, and that they had enough. Then later I found out that they needed more money, not that the shop cancelled on them. WTF???

Im also interested, but I am also with Roy. I would rather have every one that says that they will do it show up and do it. I am one that will do it either it is for the T/A or the Monte Carlo, I will be there. I just don't want to be shafted with getting charged more than what I want to pay for a dyno run/chip burn because there were no one else showing up.

Hey All,

I've done this before. I've got experience bringing in an expert.

I brought in a Tranny Expert to Switzerland to rebuild 7 Syclone and Typhoon Transmissions @ a cost of over $10,000.

First things first. Do not accept money as a middle man...that's bad ju ju. Have all monies paid straight to the end supplier.

Find out the exact services offered...as the middle man ensure every one knows what you are buying before money is sent and accepted. No matter how clear I made it...some people still fudged up and overpaid.

Now on to my side of the buisness.

Ask about the GTO. I'd be willing to go in on this. I'm even willing throw $100 down by paypal to secure a tuning spot.

They also have to tune for 170mph (constant) & avoid the dangers of predator @ high speed.

I'm up for it...but when is the big question.

SYGoat. As far as timing I would make it next spring before the 1st event but this also has be ok by Brian. I'm just throwing it out there and I don't or won't be the middle man. Great idea you have there.

Jack if that's true that would suck but did you hear that from 1Bad himself because I was told different from him. Money wasn't the issue it was the people and the dyno spot they had reserved who backed out because of some issues dealing w/ I guess Mighty at one time before. Who knows who cares........all I know is it didn't happen which sucked because I was looking forward to finally having peace of mind w/ my car.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents on this topic. I had my 95Z programmed through brian and had outstanding service. My 95 ran like crap with the new 383 in it. I got the cpu in the mail plugged it in and it didn't throw one code up to date. I would definatly jump on this opportunity if I were any of you. I know the biggest problem I had while I was there was getting a car tuned and done right.

John I dropped you an e-mail so give me a holla. I've been in the field for quit some time now. I put my # in the e-mail..

If you want I'll hook it up...I'll play middle man if need be.

Recommend dates before the 15th of March. Gotta remember that he's going to be busy back in the states getting stateside cars ready for the season too.

Like I said I am game just as long as every one else commits to do so. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get some of the other car clubs envolved either. Is it going to be a one run dyno or we going to be able to tune and run?

hi,

I will also make some big changes under my hood in march and I definatley need a custom chip then.

I thought about tbichips.com, he is also very experienced, but when I have the opportunitiy to get my car tuned here in germany right on a dyno, then I'm with you.

mine is a tbi car, but that shouldn't be a problem for him...

do you have any ideas about the prices? above or below 200$?!
greetings

simon

Simon, it will probably be at least double that, but you can rest assured knowing that it was done right! ;)

hmm, ok.

but I think that is THE only way to get everything out of my engine.

I'm gonna swap from a 305 to a 350 with tbi on top.

if I could get a dyno tune, I also could go a little bit more radical with my cam, because it's "only" a lt1 cam out of a caprice with 1.6 rockers and that would be pretty lame for a 350!!

so, I hope this event will happen.
greetings

simon

March sounds very good. If I'm done with my mods, I'm in too.
