I have my 3,8 ltr. V6 engine for sale. It comes from my 99 camaro with 42000 km. I swapped to a LS1, i don´t need this V6 any longer. 500,- Euro for the engine.
When you need the climate-compressor, starter, generator, headers, cat, shaft, transmission, module, etc. than ask me

hmmmm.....i might be interested....my car has about 57,000 miles on it and 42,000 km is roughly 26,100 miles....less than half of what I got on mine now..mainly because I put 22,000 miles on my car last year!!
but I would have to try and sell mine too and pay someone to swap

Or you could just keep it on the side, just in case something should happen to yours. For 500Euros you can't really go wrong.

500,- Euro is really not much money for the engine. It is including cylinder heads.

Plus it would probably make for a nice upgrade of those 3rd gen F-Bodies ... remember, almost 200hp ... good to get a 3500pound 4th gen to a low 16/high 15 ... and better emission standards, too ...
I recon it should fit the engine bay ...

Hallo Jens,
what did the TÜV say? Any emission certificate or Festigkeitsgutachten required? I mean the exhaust is not Z28 stock. Did you need to bring proof that all chassis and suspension is same with Z28?

i told the TÜV, that the LS1 was coming from an european Camaro Z28 with Euro D3. I had a "KFZ-Brief-Kopie from an 2000ér Camaro Z28. That was all. For TÜV i have had another exhaust system, much more quiter then the flowmaster

So, the TÜV did not check the emissions?
When the next tax raise for Euro2 will come I will tell them that mine is D3! Somebody beamed in the engine over night!
So, whats the feeling with an LS1?
Unfortunately you will get used to the power too soon.

i´ve checked the hp on a dyno. It has 340 HP and 485NM. It is a very good feeling,.
This winter i will do some mods with the suspension. I´m also looking forward for some good headers and high flow cats, because it is not enough power for the quartermile
But i must see, how much money i have after making the suspension.
They checked my emissions, it was ok for Euro 3.

Hi Jens,
why is your car for sale on Mobile.de?
Actually it has been there for weeks.
Is it only for show?
I cannot image somebody paying almost 25000EUR for it, anyway.

Jens, are your only performance mods the catback and the air lid? 340 is a pretty high number for those mods. You must have a factory freak or something! What year was the engine out of? Was it from the trans am?

yes it is standing for sale for 24.900,- Euro. i don´t must sale it, but when someone is coming with this money, i will sale it
I have the cat back system from flowmaster thunder racing, the cold air induction package from SLP including airbox, smooth bellow and k&n-filter and another maf.
The engine was coming from a 2000ér Trans Am WS6.
I was on a dyno and there was standing 339 hp and 485 NM at the engine. Not at the wheels.

Jens, I wish someone would offer to buy my car for that much. It wouldn't even be a choice for me. I would sell it in a heartbeat.
