I know most of you might have already heard about this, but just to make sure.....
This saturday (Dec 4) there will be a pretty cool charity event for "Toys for Tots" at 11:00 at the west gate parking lot on Ramstein.
Most of you guys have bedded down your rides for the winter, but you could always roll in the beater

Well, I have never gone to a F-body event. I was hoping not to be the only F-body, but I was.
Was a pretty good time, a little too much showing off for me. But hey, nobody got hurt and I didn't see anyone get into trouble so I guess it wasn't too bad.

So let me get this straight ,
A guy in your squadron gets a DUI and the rest of the squadron is punished for it .
Why doesn't your CDR just fry the mofo with a court martial , instead of nonjuducial punishment . Seven months in Mannheim Stockade and a BCD . That will get the point across through squadron.
Works wonders in infantry land.

Great way to motivate people ... 'specially for the ones that don't even drink at all (asuming there may be some ...)

That's the way it goes. Usually, the guy will have to speak. Don't know why he didn't get up this time.
I agree with a little jail time. He'll just lose a stripe, spend a year walking and have to work really hard for a month or so, then he'll be right back at it.
Also, my commander issued GO#1 on us. No drinking for 24 hours. I bought some Crown Royal "Limited Edition" last week and have been dying to drink some. Saturday night was gonna be my night. Oh well, I'll drink it tonight

The AF changed the game Roy. No more individual accountability. We now babysit everyone and everybody. Haven't you seen the commercials? It's been heading this route for the last 5 yrs or so. It's utter BS IMO but I do understand their logic seeing how we are a "team" but still BS.

We do the same thing Roy, but on Thursdays during SGT's time. If someone gets a DUI, there is a mandatory "safety" day where we all get to learn about drinking and driving, and they tend to throw everything else in on those days, to sort of "check the block".
