Ben will let you ride, I'm sure. Maybe Stef would, but what fun would that be?

Btw, anybody know a decent place to drop in for a good lunch afterwards? And this time, please wait for all the folks to follow ...

better than nothing, but I've only got my stock brake pads, not enough fluid to bleed it and I'm over due for new oil, tranny and diff fluid change and my tires are still getting a little slick.
Promised myself I would go to the track until spring so I'd have time to save some cash and do it right all summer

Passenger seat is free, though I'm (relatively) faster on Nuerburgring than on Hockenheimring.

There's a restaurant very close:
You leave the track, go over that bridge, then turn right, and turn right again, there you are...

Where pray-tell on the A60 did you have enough space to run 180mph?

I don't have to drop below 160 on most of the turns, so I've only got another 20 to go. there is a long straight north of Spang. and I just put my foot on the floor and went for it. Was able to hold it there long enough to know that I can't do 181

Ok...just looked on the map...I thought that the A60 basically ended @ A61. Nope...there's a 30-40mile break then it continues up to Belgium. Got it...my bad.

You will have to bring a helmet if you want to ride with me....... don't want to explain to your mom why you speak so slow after we hit that wall.

I think those three kids got the fright of their life. They will propably run for cover if they ever see the winged monster turn up at the same track that they are.

Here's the dumb question of the day...
I know where the track is...see it everytime I pass by on the Autobahn. Anybody have directions how to actually get in the track? What exit to take? I assume I have to get off on a local road and cross over the autobahn?

If you get off the Autobahn 6 at the Autobahntankstelle there is a small roads that snake through the forest and will get you there, but be warned, you could easily get lost.
Safest would be to take Autobahn 5 exit 39 (Walldorf). The track will be signposted from there.
What time are you guys planning on meeting there?

Weather is going to be dry, but COLD. So track SHOULD be open. I don't know if white frost is a problem? Maybe they won't open it because of it...?
ChevyV6, can you check that at 9 or so...?
I'll be there around 10-10.30h.
Ben
