Hello,
i´m looking for us-mirrors for the 4th gen. Camaro. I have the euro-mirrors and i don´t like them.
I know, that i can get some in ebay.com. But maybe some of you have to sell them.

Won't TÜV ripp open your behind when they notice? Also remember, euro mirrors fold, US mirrors tear off ...

what is the difference besides the folding?...plus how can they say something if its a genuine GM part on a GM car?? Only difference I saw was maybe the blue tint...but usually thats an option...

If you look at Euro cars, pretty much all of them have folding mirrors. I think it's a requirement, due to the narrow streets and such.

Actually, it's a safety issue I recon ... I suspect the folding mirror does not hurt quite as much as a fixed one if you hit somebody with it ...

If i think of the driving/parking skills of some people, i´m quite happy that my mirrors fold in... they have already some strange different color marks on it... I think it´s a safety feature if you hit a pedestriant or whatever, because it´s a part of the car that stands out
But TÜV won´t notice anyway.

the ones from Firebird don't match. I changed my mirrors too, coz I hated the European ones. I've also changed the rear bumper bcoz of the huge rear fog lamps . If you dont know what I mean here it is:

That's very sad what they always do to the cars for the european market, but we have had that subject already. (look new C6 thread)
