I am definatelly dumb when it comes to these cars, but that guy "Gilly P... ??" is turning 430+rwhp with exhaust only, and running deeeeeeep in the 12's to top 11's!!!

I will say, that turbo cars, and Supras especially are notorious dyno queens. Sure they put up outrageous numbers, but it doesnt equate on the track.

Off a light, or down the 1/4, there may be 1 in 10 that can skull drag you, but its probably 9 out of 10 LS1's that can whomp a TT supra in the same situation.

BTW what were you doing at suprastore.com?!!!!! :)

You are correct...for some reason they are not as fast as they should be. I dunno why either, traction? I'd like to take a look at one of their dyno results.

I sure like the sound of the turbo kicking in though, especially on the 1st car.

I looked at couple of the slips, and they dont look to bad (freaking great actually). The 450+hp cars make about 430+rwtq and it is all really linear. I guess the sequential turbo thingy works, but the 850+ cars take a tq nose dive at around 5k rpm while hp build rapidly (or vertically :) ) past 7k.

These things would be monsters on the top end. (like say, the A-bahn) They are trapping 125++mph on mid 11's. Best bet would be to sucker them down low in power band, then stomp them thru about 3gears, flash your brake lights at 'em, and get the hell out of the way :-ok:
