It was going to be the hottest summer ever for me anyway. I am deployed to the land of the sand. Just my luck that it might be hotter than last years high of 147 degrees.

Don't let those Air Force Cocoa drinking, spoiled brats fool you. They only know how hot it was by looking at the thermometer from their Air Conditioned vehilces. J/K :D

That is pretty funny. :D But you can’t blame us for choosing correctly. :P The hottest I have been in was around 120 in Kuwait.

Now, now Don. Try not to ruffle anyones feathers here. I just may take offence to this. We also feel the heat when deployed. Remember we also go on convoys and work in the same environment as you do. I remember in my younger days during the first Gulf War doing vehicle maintenance repairs on just about everything that rolls in the heat of summer in Saudi. I do remember there was no A/C in that 85 Blazer.

Did you have shade at least? Our M1009 didn't even have the back half of the roof to it  Even with what little bit of roof was in the front, you still sat in the sun when you drove it...
