I went to the shop today to clean my rotors off on the lathe.. They had a little groove starting.. Well I brought my stock rotors with me also... I happened to lay them on top of each other and low and behold the new ones are LT1 rotors.. I bought them new from Carparts.com.. I have been running LT1 rotors for a month.. Bitburg, Sembach... Oh well I am running the right ones now.... Anyone want a set of slightly used LT1 rotors?

What makes you think their Lt1 Rotors?
I have a hard time believing because Lt1 Rotors are are 10.5 inches I believe As compared to the LS1 11.8 inches.

Well that would explain the difference in size.. Ask Jack or Dave with the 97 WS6 T/A. I laid it on top of the other one and it was a huge difference in size.. I was like WTF? I will bring them to Hockenheim..... I could not believe it myself......

Were these part of the replacement parts to get the car back up and running.

I am just surprised no noticed the difference when they were on your car. I know I didn't and I looked straight at your brakes at Bitburg and actually touched them . I was doing heat test experiment between cars.

It was part of the wreck fix. I ordered them and dropped them off with the car.. When I got them back I noticed no difference so that is how it went un noticed. I did not think anything of it untill I layed them on top of it by accident. I would have never guessed it..... So you were the one fingering my brakes? :) Well I guess when they are little you do not notice, but if someone switched yours out with a set of yugo rotors I am sure you would know....

Carparts.com. I ordered a whole bunch of stuff from them 2 months ago and still have'nt recieved alot of the stuff yet. I ordered alot of gaskets and they sent me some gaskets for a v-6 camaro. Who knows maybe now that they got bought out by jc-whitney they'll be better. It almost makes you wonder what car those brake rotors are intended for.

Why, oh why do you people order from carparts????????

Place your order with Summit, Jegs, Thunder, IRS and get the right stuff within a week at most.

If you have to get genuine  parts then order from Pace or Scoggin Dicky.

BTW George, it must have sucked having the LT1 rotors, I know they stop slower, because LT1's make you faster...............heheheh I just cant stop.
