So, who's taking care of a bit of organizing for the Meet on either Mar 5 or 6? I'm out from this Wednesday night through Mar 3rd, in over my head (literally :)), so not much I can do here ... guess we need:

a) people to actually come and want some fun (guess anything more than 5 or 6 would be nice; Jack, you're obligatory here ... :))
b) something to do (suggestion: little cruise if the weather is nice, optionally some cart time or something ...)
c) a place for some BS talkin' and eating ... either some restaurant, or somebody offers his/her place for a pot luck ...
d) date, time and place for all this ;)

Tnx!

If it's only gonna be 2 or 3 people, don't waste your gas. We'll cross paths again.

I sure hope so - according the some weather reports, it's around 80 during daytime, and around 60 at night ... dry and only slightly cloudy, mostly clear skies ... guess I'll still get pretty wet, though

Well Garry you might get wet but at least you won't get stuck, I don't think it is freezing over that quick in that area.
Have a nice vacation and - is your camera water proof? - post a few pics.

I am trying to think of where to go... my house is an "ice castle" and not set up for guests or pot luck at this time otherwise I'd offer to do it here. It will take a month to warm up the walls.

I will be there if I have a time and place. You could do it at my shop but no heat yet. So that would really suck. Mabey next month.

Guys/gals, this is just not going to work. I have so much crap to take care of, and I need every second of every minute. My wife wants me to take her on one last trip, too, so I really can't do this. I appreciate your trying to set something up Garry, but it really isn't going to work. I hope you all have wonderful lives, and I look forward to hearing about your ventures in the future. ;) :) :D :P

I was going to set something up last night, but then was reading your post, and cancelled my thoughts.

ok Jack, you want to sneek out of here - just go!

world is so small, and I don't believe you ever will leave this board or the club anyhow.

That's true Garry. It would have been much different if I was leaving in the Summer.

I have cats, but they didn't check anyway, so I don't think you would. :)

Careful Jack...my 78 was checked by customs in Bridgeport, Conn after it arrived and before it was trucked to Dallas VPC. Ditto on the T/A when it got to Houston.
