... I made it back in one piece ... ;)

Had a pretty good time in Egypt, to all you US folks who dive, the Red Sea is a pretty awesome place to dive at ... 4-5 hour flight time from Frankfurt ...
Rather cheap, too, as long as you buy egyptian products ... food was great, too (have to get rid of some 4 pounds again ... :()
Just don't expect ordered driving as in Germany or US ...

I'll be posting some pics once I can download them from the camera (got some 250 pics myself, plus one of the guys who was down there too took about 900 pics and videos ... including underwater shots)

Also, even more police than the HS department has deployed in the US I recon  Just can't figure out their metal detectors ... went off everywhere, but nobody seemed to care :D

Nice I always wanted to go to Egypt but was a bit afraid of terrorist attacks...

well, if there is a lot of police, then there must be a lot of crime, to justify all the police.
or talk for the divers: where the blood is, there is the sharks...

The pyramids were some 300 or 400mi up north ...
The 125mi ride from Safaga to Luxor in a bus was a thing you just have to do to believe ... (and that you'll dread once you do) Don't think I would want to ride all the way up to Gizeh in a bus ... I don't think a actually want to be on or near egyptian streets at all

Added a couple more pics from the historic sites ...

Btw, if you care, here's a nice site about the stuff I saw (and then some)
