Well, today Jerry got his GMMG installed. For FREE no less.
Myself and SRZ fell in love with that sound. Well worth the money!
Everyone throw a rock at him when you see him. At least until mine gets here

Daddy,
What size ZO6 wheels you running??? I just put on my new ZO6 18X9.5 275/35/18s front with 18X10.5 295/35/18s rear. No rubbing issues front or back. I'm already kicking around the idea of bumping up the rears to a 305. Are you going to try the Auto-X this year or are you stuck in the 1/4 again????

I have a set of 17's in the front and 18's in the rear waiting to go on the Syclone. Love the look...

Thanks for the help Jason and John. It is in and I really like the sound. Cruising it is only slightly louder than stock, but it really wakes up when you get on it. I'm very pleased with it. That is probably all I'll do this year.

I know the GMMG sounds awesome but I'm not jealous... I like the adjustability (with a flip of a switch) of my Borla/QTEC combo.

Val you can stick a 305 easy on that thing. You've got more wheel space than Z's. Wait til the end of summer. 18X10 front 18X12 rear. 335 or 325/30/18 rear tire and 275/35/18.
Ben. I love the adjustability of the Borla too. But I jumped ship as well. I already order my GMMG a few wks back. But after actually hearing it on Jerry's car yesterday........I was like dayumn!!!!!! I can only imagine what it will sound like on the SRZ.
Jerry, your welcome and thanks for the 90 degree bends.

Hi,
sorry Ben but our Borlas are expensive cutouts. When I first heard Larrys GMMG last year I already ordered my Borla - I better had listen to the guys from ls1tech. Second GMMG I heard was Firechickens in Hock - 30 meters away
I drive my Borla all open the whole time. I better invested in a Y-Pipe with two QTP-Valves instead and keep the Zs original Catback or the GMMG. Yes, the Borla sounds OK, but it is only a cut-out in my application. And you can hear that the sound came out of the right side!
I am jealous, yeah, really. And TUEV sucks - I want QTP LTs but they dont let me - pouting. But when all went good I can leave this "going down country" next year...

Jerry, did you adapt it to fit the CME? If not, you wanna hook a brotha up? I'd really love to get that extra valence you got. Congrats, I know it's a badass exhaust. I got another one for $580 shipped.

The CME isn't on yet, but it will be. During the process of taking it out, the weld on the piece between the two tips got broken so I had to get it welded. I got it back yesterday and am going to do some polishing on it before I reinstall it. It will work though. Just need to get it on. I made sure I could adapt it before I ordered the GMMG. I would not have gotten it if I couldn't have made it work.
Jack, if you want a CME, SLP still sells them. Not cheap, but not really that bad

Lupo, that's only true if you drive your Borla ALWAYS open (OK, that's what you do). All the other exhausts on the market for our cars aren't adjustable so they don't have the built-in option to run them as a cutout. Close your Borla and it's a "normal" (and still better-than-stock) sounding exhaust. Apart from that I heard the Borla on John's and Jack's cars and that's a different story than our basically stock cars. Anyway, I admit that the GMMG sounds great... Even true duals with German plates are possible... just depends on your money and the TUeV place you go to...

That's cool Jerry. I just thought you had to have an SS to order that kind of stuff.

@Jack,
if SLP needs the SS VIN No., just go to http://www.ebaymotors.com and chose yourself any SS No. you want
@Jerry,
cool job. Would like to hear that one. Never heard a GMMG in real. And don't you dare to not put the CME back!
Should be looking like that then, huh?
seems like this is a commun problem with the CME tipps
