Well I woke up this morning, and I still feel and look the same. As I sip my cup of morning fresh brew, coffee that is, I reflect on the things that I think I made a difference in. Then I realize how really insignificant as a single person that I really am. In a team concept I see the really big picture, but I also see that if I didn’t do my part in the team scheme there would not be a big a big picture. Well people, this morning the milestone I crossed maybe small when compared to what is going around in the world today. But I am taking the day off to really appreciate, enjoy, ponder, reflect, or whatever people do.
Today marks my twentieth year in active federal service. Everybody enjoy a nice and wonderful spring day. I know I will.

Congrats man and thank you for your dedicated service to a cause greater than yourself. It takes a special person to commit to the military life and isn't for everyone. I will say this though with all that now said. Not a day over 20 for me. 4 yrs to go.
I love the AF but after 20 it's time to press on and let the new blood take over.
Again congrats Roy and hats off to you. I can't wait til I hit that milestone.

Congrats Roy ! 20 years of service is indeed something worth mentioning and worth reflecting
What a coincidence, March 15th is my annual service entry date (March 15th 1990 to be exact) so i have exactly 15 years and 1 month of service behind me today.
Hm, 4 years to go ..... 7 years to go ....... i got 24 years minus 1 month to go.
Should have listened to my father and learned a profession ....

Roy, think about your first day. How long ago that was. I haven't been in 7 years yet and its hard to imagine what being a cib=vilian was like.
Congrats man! You covered your tracks well.
Now get your ass back to work! Slacker!
