Did anyone have any complaints about the mph being off? I am curious because one of my tickets said I was doing 882mph in the 1/8th. I am pretty sure I left my jet at home over the weekend. :)

We had a couple runs during which the 1/8th light barrier was mis-adjusted ... caused the 1/8 to fire just after the 1/8 trap ... corrected it when we called back the cars ... I didn't want to stop the runs to re-adjust ...

All the guys on LS1GTO say that I'm trapping low (99 vs. 102/4) any thoughts?

Traction was a bit worse this year ... recon the rubber from last year suffered some from the winter ... let's see how it is next month ... got to get some more down I recon :)
Also, what are they comparing it to? After all, no trackbite etc. allowed there, so not really comparable to a commercial race track ...

Not that I am downing you by any means but drivers can have a huge part in the cars performance. 6 speeds even more so because shifting at the right time is important. That being said it was also warm outside as well. That is going to slow you up some.

Remember that this track is at 1200 ft elevation, and it is slightly uphill. There are so many factors that could affect this. I wouldn't sweat it. What kind of ET's were you running?

Best was 13.9@99

Ran a lot of 14.0's though.

I'm happy that I improved though. Real happy.
