I would love to be part of a big crowd up there, but I am on vacation all of June. I did show up and spent most of the day up at Bitburg 2 weeks ago. But I won't race my car. I figured there was going to be a f-body parking area, but I never saw one. Ironicly, when I parked I realized I was really close to the Mustang group.

Weve lost a little Fervor. Its just hard to get everybody together with everything that is going on in the world.
But weve had a couple good Hockenheim events , A good Nordschleife event, bitburg festival of speed event. A couple of good Cars are the stars events. I think we even had a good showing at Wuerzburg once.
Once or twice at the Norris ring in Nuernburg.

Hopefully, when your time down there is done, it won't have seemed so long. Plus, you won't have a choice but to think through your next mods before actually doing them on impulse. Actually, the only mod you should be thinking about now is a cage in order to drive a Bitburg event...high 11 ET and all. ;-)

I don't know. Just needed someting different for a change. It'll be changed again once I figure out what I'm gonna say. :D

Roy is right. Current events don't help and that actually started the downward trend of FBE. 9-11 Still Mighty pulls it off w/out much of a fuss.

I am hoping that my car is done by then. I would like to get together with the Ktown FBE( and anyone who wants to meet in that area) and all cruise over there.
ok, about the rustang thing who cares what their doing, so what they have 5 people or 5000, Im here because of Fbodys not because we have 2 people or 20000, So what Im NEW I will still show support if thats not camaraderie i dont know what is. Again who cares about some crapie pretend racing car that people mostly buy with a V6 in it. Lets go and have fun.

one moment, just a reminder, you all forgot something

The Bitburg quartermile events (1on1) grew out of FBE and are ran by quiet a few FBE members, who are there all event long from setting up to taking down, but also are busy as hell...

Garry and Ben at the quartermile/computer, you will not find them in the parking lot,
Roy, Val and 2slow are organizing a big portion of the the AutoX site and spend most the time over there
or I - just not with a Fbody because that don't pull a 3 ton trailer down the Autobahn
then Heiko (formula), our main starter, and Christa, Markus and Simon are from the german Bandit-Online ...

and I am sure I forgot somebody  ...getting old.
oh yeah... even Daddy is burned in memories as the pre starter directed the cars like air planes... all germans remember :D

@ Daddy ... YES, cool. :D

oh yes, the Montgomery family in force, Jerry, Linda and Nick always have been supporting the events and other FBE members with a place to sleep (i.e. Hawk in the truck bed)
Novarat with the SG Nova is also there and a longer member of FBE.
Rich gave me a call past week, he will try to make it to Bitburg next event with a car and his wife. He said for some reason he can read but not log on to this site.

Why the events are named 1on1 and not FBE ? Because 1on1 is open to everybody, to ALL makes and models.

Maybe we should ask the Mighty Mustangs to organize the Party Site ?

That's the way I'll introduce my self as well. For a new guy you got a big mouth.

Bring your Camaro and I'll show you what my pretend race car (a ruststang) will do.

Now,

You do make sense. It does not matter how many show up as long as you have a good time and support each other.

So, in essence, there are dozens of FBE people there, they just hardly seem to get together ;) What about just meeting up at the tent or something on June 4th? Maybe head out for a short cruise and something to eat? AND A GROUP SHOT to prove we're there! :)

Maybe we should combine the FBE board and the 1on1 board. There is not much going on the 1on1 board anyhow.... just thinking.

Win or lose against who ever Im out there to have a good time. I saw your car NAZ its bad a@@ you have put alot of work into it nice, but I still would pick a Fbody any day over a stang. I do talk alot but its because Fbodys in my opinion are the BEST!!!
