ok I just got out of Star Wars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I can say is WOW! I wont rune anything but it closes a lot of loops, The movie was realy dark, you might not want to take young kids to see it.

Sounds good, I'm going to watch it next week...

I was going to wait a few weeks to let the crowd die down, but I let myself get talked into going to see it at the last minute. Great movie I'm glad I went.

Chewy is right, very dark, not for the little kids.

Well, it's called "Star WARS!!!" and not "Star kindergarten party in the park".

I think we know its called STAR WARS. This time themes of certin events were a lot darker, most kids have seen the other movies. In no way do they compare to this one! The young skywalker is not racing funny creatures in this one who provide a lot of comic ease. Lucas trully showed how evil the Dark Side is.

Is this movie intended as an allegory of our times or what???

Well, the first one seemed to me like a Disney movie for little kids... i was so dissappointed, i didn´t even watch part 2.

I agree Chris- part I sucked major butt. I haven't seen part II yet, but it will be on TV this Sunday, so I'm probably gonna watch it. Hopefully it won't be as much of a disappointment.

Being a long time fan i have to agree, part 1 was a sad puppy and hardly worth watching, but Lucas did obviously understood most of the comments and turned part 2 into quite an impressive movie.
Haven't seen part 3 yet as i hate crowded cinema's so i'll wait for another week and pick an afternoon feature on let's say a monday .....

Best series so far IMO: (1 best, 5 worst)

2. Star Wars a new Hope (Part 4)
3. Attack of the Clones (Part 2)
4. Return of the Jedi (Part 6)
5. The Phantom Menace (Part 1)

Kevin Smith was amazed at how dark it was

(Kevin Smith did Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back / Dogma / Chasing Amy etc etc)

He was happy at just how dark this one was. Kindergarten Children getting slayed by Anakin (it's just that dark)

that 1 kid did put up a pretty good fight though

I tell you though, Yoda was mad crazy dope- I dont want to rune anything..... Yoda did something during one of the fights with his lightsaber. Crazy!

(and think guys next weekend we can all put on our chewey and vador uniforms and go the upcoming convention. What do you all think good idea or bad idea. I bet one of you won't dress up as a trekky. )

I think the movies are alright but I do believe some people take it way to far, like the jackaZZ who waited 3+ weeks to watch a two hour movie whats up with that.

went Friday night to the Broadway Kino in Landstuhl and they played it in German in one kino and in English in two kinos at the same time,
it was crowded, yes, but I was there in time, got in in time, got a seat to sit down, and two and a half hours to enjoy. English of course.

It was dark, yes. But it was about the Dark Side. So what do you expect there?

Seen a lot more dark on TV in the News around any time during the day and Kids watching it while playing because parents watch the news. And that is REAL dark. Or dark reality?

Skywalker was a bad ass. I used to be that good. Got old though

I have heard that they might make a TV show. I dont know yet if it will be weekly or bi-weekly. There going to have some of the original stars on there. So far i belive that the epsoides will be after the 6th movie(return of th jedi). They do have spots to fill in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Bobefet and Darth Vader are supposed to meet and go hunt out the rest of the Jedis.
