I don´t judge anything from videos anymore - i have to know the circumstances and sometimes you probably need to be there in person to understand different things...

Icould care what it looked to you Zed. You see a film clip and make assumptions without knowing the facts. I don't know you personally , but I am getting the distinct impression that you are oblivious to what combat is . But don't worry if you were a soldier of mine you would have a pretty quick learning curve to it.
War is war and that prisioner will live another day. The RPG that you didn't see is being secured by the Iraqi National Guardsmen who discovered him on the cordon and search mission and was putting the boots to him. Until the prisoner is subdued he is a threat . What ever force it takes to include deadly force to subdue a prisoner is what you use. I credit that American soldier for saving his life, if he wasn't there that would of been a very dead prisoner.
Just a little hind sight our main mission is Close with and kill the enemy and we do it very effectively.

Zed , It sounds like your a bad ass in your own mind. Did we ask for a life history of you being a bad ass. No! What does it justify ,quantify? Nadda a dam thing. If your violence was so terrible, you still be in the Gulag. This is getting to be hilarious. Just a piece of advice here , if you don't know what your talking about or don't have a informed mature opinion about a subject , then don't post it. At least this way your secret is safe with you. But I guess that cat is out of the bag already.

And don't you forget it. Enjoy your Freedom of speech,it was payed for dearly by the Allies. But don't confuse this freedom saying derogatory remarks about the sons and daughters fighting Global Terrorism . If you can't handle a little constructive criticism or can't get your facts in order , then you leave no recourse but to get set straight. If you don't like getting swiped , might I suggest you get a thicker skin.

You have to be kidding me! Wars are not all about violence solving the problem. Most of the time its about reorginizing and those that resist cause that violance. Iraq is a perfect example. 99 percent of the people there want change. 1 per. want to resist, there the ones firing at us and there own people.
Next thing-
are you out of your mind. I served in the Infantry, I have lost people i know, and because of people like you that assume the military is a Sir Yes Sir world just shows your lack of knowledge. even though the military has its problems it is still a brotherhood that no gang or hood could ever understand. Fighting thousands of miles away to help those in need. Now thats Intestenal Fortitude. Not having 5 guys kick someones but. I grew up in a rough area to, but so what. This is a place where we share thoughts, pics, videos, whatever and a lot of these people are military. So just deal with it!
