Well after 5 years of waiting I finally placed the order for a new Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel(325hp 610tq  ) 4X4, Quad cab. It is the Larime package with EVERYTHING plus some on it. $49,000 MSRP getting it for $43,495. Now the wife will have her daily driver and I'll have it on Fridays & Saturdays to tow my 2001 & 1973 Firebirds to the races(once I'm back home)!!!!!!!! Just wanted to share my excitement with you all, I know it's not a ZO6 Corvette or a new F-Body but hey it'll be my tow vehicle :ok: The only bad part about all this is when I told my wife that they make the SRT10 in a Quadcab she said "I'd be happy driving that!!", then I told her about the gas mileage and tow rating.........she then told me to get the 2500 4X4...........guess I shouldn't of told her that part  !!

I will probably put a gooseneck reciever in it so I can haul bigger trailers. but hopefully I will still have to pick and choose what cars to take anyways enuf of me dreaming congrats on the truck. if you want more power I know banks can square you away.

610 torque? I recon that should be enough to tow the Chicken ... :) How much is it rated? 3 tons?

Where is the delivery? I was waiting to see if Kel was getting a new truck this "season". Same color or different? Hey you can always get the Banks upgrade kit for it.

Going to have it delivered in Atlanta, not going to put Big Blue out to pasture just yet. She wanted Black so it'll be BLACK. 610tq will be more than enough to tow a 30ft enclosed car trailer with the Firechickens & tools :D . Best part is the wife is more excited than I am about it  .

She doesn't like attidude but ALTITUDE! LOL. You going to sell Ol'Blue before you PCS?

Side note when are the 4 of use going to get together about Bitburg? It is next weekend and no plans have been made about the Motorsports Park road course.
