:) I was just wondering what their reaction to the car is. Overhere there is so much talk of the imports etc, I was wondering how they feel about the imorts there. Looks, performance, handling etc. Are they considered desirable or are the BMW's, etc still perceived as better? Tom

99% thinks that american cars have bad quality and bad handling and use a lot of gas. And compered to a BMW they are right aren´t they? But i just love the looks and power this car haves, so what if they can out manuever me, i´l take them when the road gets straight. 8)

And another thing 99.999% of all cars sold here have manual gearboxes...

Better Quality? Not anymore!!! Tell the non believers to check out the J.D. Power reports on Initial Quality and dependibility and the Harbour Reports. GM is beating them all and has more vehicles that get better mileage than any other manufacturer including Toyota and Honda. Unfortunately, Everyone's perception is different. They still think the imports are beating us in these categories because they have spent millions on advertising over many years and GM is trying to communicatee their success in a very short time frame. Not easy to do. But I have noticed that the imports are now directly attacking the North American Manufacturers in their advertising. They must be feeling the pressure. Stick with us, more great things to come. Tom
