Okay there has been alot of smack talking about the capibility of the cars and drivers. What would you say if we made the transportation piece even and now it's about skill lap after lap?? What I'm talking about is trying to put together a little event just for fun. There is a nice little GoKart track just down the road from the entrance to the races at Bitburg. I was thinking about maybe a 40 lap event with 1,2,3 place trophies on Saturday night (Bitburg race weekend) around 7or 8pm. You'd have to bring your own driving skill and no excuses. Still working the details and the cost. I wanted to see who wanted in first before putting it all together. We had a member here on the board that put an event like this together and only a few showed up .
So far the following are in;
Val & son
Roy & Daughters
Bruce(Hawk)
Jerry & Linda (waiting confirmation)
Ben
Stef
Garry
Lance
James
Ryan
Hot Rod & Son
goaliedave40
Total=17
This will bascially level the playing field, it will no longer matter what you drive or what your mods are I will get a estimated cost, time, & will post it back up here again.
Val

Stef, only if you race w/ the official carts, not your own (how far are you with building it? Can't wait to see you race it )
Guess you can count me in, too ... sounds cool

But they really need to pack some extra-weight on their karts, otherwise it's UNFAIR! .............

Ben in all actuality your therory should be correct.........I have proven this wrong a time or two. I'm not talking about driving dirty either, good clean passing.....okay maybe a rub or two
Please check up top, I think I've gotten everybody that has posted so far to include James (I know he'll want in on this).

Sounds about right - they also have an indoor track, I don't think they open the outdoor track at night ...
Edit: They seem to be open till 2200, hope that's still valid for October ...

S'not fair! only 6.5 ps and I have a fat arse. Suppose if I ever get the thing up to speed I better not brake for the corners.

Stef, I think that I'm the "heavy weight" @ 105kilos. 6.5ps isn't much but it'll be a good time doing it!!
