Silke should have a number or two of affordable hotels ... not as spacious as the lodging on post, but ...

can someone from the Bitburg/Spangdahlem area check into this?

No it is not true. Talked to them yesterday. NEXT MONDAY is the day they close. I am trying to get a room there but the credit card is the issue. Ryan call me at work 334-4731. I had one avalible yesterday but did not have a card, stupid AFCU. The TLF is undergoing moving to Spang and should be ready for next month. Rooms are avalible at Spang for the weekend at Spang and Bitburg. James

AUGH they lied! Just called Spang. 1st is the last day for TLF. Few rooms afree on Spang. I need to know who needs one. Ben I got you and can let you know friday 100%. Stef what about you? Ryan looks like the tent option is might be better for you. I AM NOT SLEEPING IN ANOTHER DAMN TENT! I will get a hotel room somewhere. There is a SPorts Hotel on the Flugplatz somewhere? 45euro night.

I'm looking for 1 too. I called Spang and they said they had rooms and to call back 24 hrs in advance. Unless someone knows of something closer/cheaper, that's what I'm going to try to do.

I'm going to be camping. But I won't make it up untill about 9pm on Friday night.

We're bringing enough tents to house the Italian Mafia. If anybody wants to get in on this let me know.

Weather is shaping up to be beautifull.

Hey Keith your safe LOL but we might be able to cause a cat fight next month. I think I might have the perfect mix of gun powder to make it happen.

Stef what about you?

I will really appreciate a bed with a roof over it. A few weeks ago I got caught out at the Oldtimer GrandPrix (too much beer and even more rain) and slept in the Audi's boot (yes, it's possible). Never want to do it again!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean stef. 2 months ago, i slept in the trunk of the vette at Bitburg, not exactly the most comfortable place and the harness bar doesn't exactly make the most comfortable pillow.

James
I'm still debating if i want to send that e-mail. Don't want to cause too much drama until I can clear things up in person.

Man, my daughter loved that hotel. I think she had more fun at the August race last year than I did.
