Well, I got a 0300 code. Multi cylinder mis-fire. I guess that's the Opti.

Any advice? I'm gonna clean the MAF and see what that does.

Sounds expensive, good luck. my check engine light came on the day before I left Germany. I have to wait till October before I can find out what it is.

Has the Opti ever been replaced? I would say it may just be the rotor but you still have to tear it down to check it. I would just replace the whole opti it if I tore it down that far. MSD now sells a cap and rotor for it. Good luck.

Hey, I forgot to tell you to check all your plug wires and make sure you didn't burn one. Also, pull the coil wire off and look at the connections. My black car would not even run one day and I pulled the coil wire off. The connection was green. So I cleaned it up and I ran perfect. I would have to check it about once a year.
