Slalom scores
Season points as of September

This slalom test was a hard fought tire tread ripping ,shifter braking event. The Opel Brigade From Holland put their Kung Fu on display and could not find worthy opponents for the Slalom event. Once the competition was subdued and dominated, the Opel masters turned with in there ranks to fuel up the event . A seething hot contest amongst J. Jansen, B. Rijsbergen, and A. Tap soon ensued. With J. Jansen in the oldest car on the circuit taking 1st place and getting fast time for the weekend. Rumour has that J. Jansen is putting a Barbecue Grill modification on the Kadette A. More to come.

On Sunday Josh(black Subaru) who is known as Tripod to the Slalom folks from here forth, was seen drifting all over the course. When asked about it , he said "Aren't Subarus suspose to do that?". What might contributed to Josh's ill handling car was that his tires were too sticky and the pavement was too slippery plus he had basically stock horsepower.
Go figure.

Stef Scheepers put in a disapointing show in his Audi S4 with a fast time for him at 1:07.711. For Shits and Giggles, the Audi S4 was loaded up with 4 adult Test subjects . All subjects weigh about 200 poundseach for an additional 600 pounds of weight. Time was 1:08.529
Go figure.

Roy,
What are you building, a LS series V24? Did you ever get your car back out or is it done til next year? I saw a video of a Silver Z running at Bitburg but it did not look like yours. I couldn't tell if it was an SS or not.

Well I thught my weekend was over. Right. Last night about 2130 Desiree called me saying she was in an accident on the A63 Ausfart 8-9. Seems so guy on a Ducatti was weaving in and out of traffice and generally goofing off. Well he pulled in front of Des and decided to stop while she was doing 80mph. The tracker didn't stop and the Duc and the rider I assumed "smiled as they went under". Somehow the guy walked away. No one was hurt major. Minor bumps and soreness. Lots of emotions. and I was back home a 0400 this morning. Took me a minute to find the bike. They told me it was "in front", well I looked everywhere "in front" and didn't see any bike. The a flicker caught my eye and it was not "in front" but IN THE FRONT of the tracker. Not sure of the damage to the tracker but I know the Ducati is a write off. Not sure if the 2 could be seperated at all. It was dark and I could not see a darn thing. It could have been alot worse. The guy actualy asked for a ride home to WI. Couldn't fit him in the Focus. Have track down where the hell ithe Tracker is in Alzey now. Hopefully it is fixable. It will need 4 new tires as I think it shed enough rubber to replace what we burned this weekend in Bitburg. They were new tires. Everyone is ok but sore as hell.

Des better make sure she gets herself a good lawyer and some witnesses that can prove the guy was at fault - otherwise, she'll be liable for all damages ... was the police there? Might have been a good idea to have him checked for DUI ...

Stuff like that sucks ... :(

Far as I know they did a complete exam on the rider. The GP were there also. Really friendly and nice. Tow truck was there before we left for the hospital. I hope the LKW fahrer was a good witness as he was right behind them when it happened. Still waiting for the report.
